ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS

 

Road Replacement

Town of Wheaton, Chippewa County

 

Bid Opening:                      7:00 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2022

Location:                             Wheaton Town Hall

                                              4975 County Road T

                                              Chippewa Falls, WI 54729

 

Sealed bids for the projects designated below will be received for and in behalf of the Town of Wheaton at the location listed above on or before that time and date.  At that time all bids will be opened and read aloud.  Acceptance and/or rejection of the bids will be conducted at a meeting of the Board at a later date that week.  Announcement of that meeting date and time will be made at the bid opening.  Sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:  Town of Wheaton, Road Replacement Bid,  Attn: Scott Deutscher, Town Clerk.  

Bids will be accepted for addition of 3” of base course, pulverizing and paving of the town roads, shouldering work as listed on the Bid Form, and excavation and replacement of subgrade soils as described.  See project description and specifications for details.  Projects will include 90^th St from 50^th Ave to 65^th Ave (approx. 1.5 miles), and 115^th St from County Highway N to Termini (approx. 0.25 miles). 

Unit price bid will be required for this project.  Specific items and quantities can be found in the bid documents.  Documents will be ready on May 31^st, 2022.  Bids shall be on the forms provided by the Town of Wheaton.

The Town of Wheaton reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.  No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of opening.
