Road Replacement
Town of Wheaton, Chippewa County

Sealed bids for the projects designated below will be received for and in behalf of the Town of Wheaton at the location listed above on or before that time and date. At that time all bids will be opened and read aloud. Acceptance and/or rejection of the bids will be conducted at the meeting of the Board on May 9th, 2023, at 7:00 pm. Sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: Town of Wheaton, Road Replacement Bid, Attn: Scott Deutscher, Town Clerk.

Bids will be accepted for addition of 3” of base course, pulverizing and paving of the town roads, shouldering work as listed on the Bid Form, and excavation and reconstruction of subgrade at the hill near the east end of the 50th Ave project. See project description and specifications for details. Projects will include 50th Ave from County F to 90th St (approx. 1.05 miles), 102nd St from County Highway N to 65th Ave approximately 1300 feet, 95th St from County N approximately 2000 feet south towards 65th St, and 115th St from County N to Termini, approximately 1267 feet.

Unit price bid will be required for this project. Specific items and quantities can be found in the bid documents. Documents will be ready on April 17, 2023. Bids shall be on the forms provided by the Town of Wheaton.

The Town of Wheaton reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the date of the bid award.
