CURRENT POSITION OPENING

FIRE CHIEF

The Wheaton Fire Commission is looking for a qualified person for the position of Fire Chief for the newly created Fire Department for the Town of Wheaton.  This is currently an unpaid, volunteer position that may receive a stipend in the future.

 

The Fire Chief is appointed by the Wheaton Fire Commission and will serve a term of 5 years commencing on July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2025.

 

The qualified candidate for the Fire Chief position shall have at least 10 years of verifiable fire service experience. No less than three (3) years of this service must be with a current Fire Department serving the Township of Wheaton.

 

Qualified Candidates that are interested must submit a Letter of Intent along with a current resume no later than 4:30pm on Monday June 22, 2020 to:
