Wheaton Boat Landing Improvements

Town of Wheaton in Chippewa County

The Town of Wheaton will be performing the following work:

  • Replacement of concrete boat launch
  • Procurement and installation of new public boat dock
  • Reconstruction of boat launch driveway
  • Expansion of handicap parking area
  • Addition of 2 parking lot security lights

 

The bid document is available, and you may obtain a copy of the document from Wheaton Parks Commission Chair by emailing Wheatonpark@gmail.com.  Bid documents may also be examined at Wheaton Town Hall located at 4975 County Highway T Chippewa Falls WI  54729 by contacting Scott Deutscher, Town Clerk at Wheaton.Clerk@gmail.com or calling 715-874-5982. 

 

All questions should be emailed to Wheaton Parks Commission Chair at Wheatonpark@gmail.com by Monday, January 9, 2023 at 5:00 pm CST.  All questions/answers will be provided to all bidders by Monday, January 16, 2023 at 5:00 pm CST.

 

Sealed bids must be received before 7:00 pm CST on February 14, 2023, and then the bids will be opened and read aloud.  Sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:  Town of Wheaton, Wheaton Boat Landing Improvements Bid, Attn: Scott Deutscher, Town Clerk.  Sealed bids may be mailed or dropped off at:

Chippewa Falls, WI  54729

 

The Town of Wheaton reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.  No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of opening.
